Deep groove ball bearing material

Author:

Deep groove ball bearing is a kind of widely used rolling bearing, which is characterized by low friction resistance and high speed, and can withstand radial load or combined load of radial and axial action at the same time. The materials of deep groove ball bearings include but are not limited to carbon steel, bearing steel, stainless steel, plastics, ceramics, etc. Among them, the bearing ring and steel ball are usually made of GCR15(AISI 52100) refined bearing steel, and the reholder is stamped from 08F high-quality cold-rolled steel strip.

The material of the deep groove ball bearing also includes high carbon chromium steel, which is a material with excellent strength and wear resistance after heat treatment, suitable for high load and high speed conditions. Stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and is often used in humid or chemically corrosive environments. Ceramic materials such as alumina porcelain and silicon nitride oxide ceramics  have the characteristics of high strength, high hardness, low friction coefficient, etc., suitable for high-speed, high temperature, high precision application scenarios.

In addition, there are micro deep groove ball bearings, whose materials are equally diverse, including carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic, ceramic, etc., of which the British series of outer diameter less than 9.525mm of all kinds of bearings are also widely used.

On the assembly drawing, the material of the deep groove ball bearing is usually clearly marked, including but not limited to the material type, hardness level, accuracy level, etc., to ensure its applicability and performance in a specific application.
